This month we have pulled together our set of rare Tiffany books in honor of the Tiffany's Glass Exhibit currently displayed at the Museum. The exhibit case in the Library now features inscribed art books by Louis Comfort Tiffany, a photo album that has never been reproduced, catalogs that were used as an advertising strategy, and other miscellaneous pamphelts that go as far back as 1845! Come to the Library to check out the rare treat!
The photo on the right is the first page of the photo album that contains 100 original photographs of lamps made by Tiffany Studios in New York between 1898 and 1918. The photographs, made under the personal supervision of Louis C. Tiffany, have never been reproduced.
